  • Do you sell printed fabric?

    No. Our prints are sold as digital files, that clients can print onto fabric. These days there are lots of companies that can print the design onto fabric for you, either digitally or screenprinted, many with low or no minimum order quantities.

  • Are the designs exclusive to the buyer?

    Designs in the Print Library are exclusive, which means they will only be sold once, and the rights transfer to the buyer on purchase.

    Our limited-license prints are non-exclusive, but only 5 seats are available for each design. Calypso maintains the rights to these designs.

  • How and when will I receive my artwork files?

    After checkout you will receive an email within 24 hours with a download link, from which you can download your files.

  • Why aren't the designs in the Print Library visible to everyone?

    Access to the Print Library is available to fashion brands, industry professionals and print buyers on application. This is to help protect the exclusive integrity of the designs and to minimise the risk of plagiarism. If you would like to view the prints, send us a quick email to request access.

  • Are prints colour-separated?

    Most of our prints are colour and/or element separated, so you can customise them to your requirements. The product description for each print will show whether it is colour separated and element separated, and how many colours have been used.

  • Is the print artwork in repeat?

    Yes, all Calypso designs are in seamless repeat. Most designs have a repeat of either 32cm or 64cm unless otherwise stated in the product description.

  • Are the prints suited to screen printing?

    Designs with around 6 colours or less will be suitable for screen printing. The number of colours is specified in the product description.

  • The print I want to buy has too many colours for screen printing, can you reduce the number of colours for me?

    In most cases the number of colours can be reduced - email us with the print name and code, and we’ll see if we can help!

  • The print I want to buy isn’t colour separated, can you separate it for me?

    This may be possible depending on the design - email us with the print name and code, and we’ll let you know!

  • Will colours print on fabric exactly as they look on my screen? What about Pantones?

    All monitor screens will represent the colours slightly differently, so we highly recommend you match Pantones or other swatches to the sample fabric so you will achieve the print results you need. We can supply Pantone colours if desired.

  • Can you change the colours in the print artwork for me?

    We can help with customising your purchase. Get in touch to let us know what you need. Complicated changes may incur an additional fee.

  • I’d like to change a design around a bit. Can I do this?

    Once you’ve purchased a print you can definitely change it around - the designs are motif separated. We can also help you with this, but be advised that it may incur an additional fee, particularly if it needs to be put into repeat and colour separated again to be ready for printing.
